PURPLE LURVE (AND PINK RE-DISCOVERY)

I fucking LOVE purple.

That's no secret to those that follow me on Twitter. If I could afford it, I'd buy a hundred different items of clothing, and pairs of shoes, in every shade.

I love lilac, violet, magenta, electric purple, lavender, royal purple, orchid, mulberry, pansy purple, amethyst, mauve, plum, wisteria, eggplant and all other shades I don't know the names of.

When I was a small child I was drowned in pink. I had pink clothes, pink shoes, pink hats, pink bags, pink belts, a pink bedroom (with pink carpets, pink curtains, pink bed, pink bedspread, pink desk and pink ornaments).

I turned 11 and....I rebelled. Starting wearing red, purple, blue, any colour other than pink. Then when I turned 13 I wore black for about 2 or 3 years. Then I was back to the red, purple, blue. It's only in the last few years that I've started incorporating pink into my life again.

First it started with pink-purples, then hot pinks, and a teensy little bit of fluro pink dotted here & there. I still can't bring myself to wear or buy anything baby pink unless it's in a multicoloured pattern. But I can now look at baby pink things and go "ooh, pretty" instead of "ohhh, GAG". I especially like pink food!



BUT, DESPITE ALL THIS, I STILL LOVE MY BLACK TOO :)
